Nicola G Ghazi

Biography

Prof/Dr Nicola Ghazi  has received his PhD   MD in the American University of Beirut Specialized in Ophthalmology at the University of Virginia and at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins  during the period  of 1996-2007 .  Currently,  he is working as Senior Consultant in King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital University. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Residency Program Director at the University of Virginia and then as Vice-Chair at Texas tech University Health Sciences center in El Paso .He  is serving as an invited reviewer of several reputed journals like Investigative Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, American Journal of Ophthalmology, Ophthalmology, and Retina He  has authored about 40 research articles. He is a member of several Ophthalmic Societies including the American Association of Ophthalmic Pathologists, the International Society of Ophthalmic Pathologists, the American Academy  of Ophthalmology, ARVO, and others . He has honored as: recipient of the  Resident and Fellow Teaching Award for excellence and dedication in resident teaching, the University of Virginia, 2007; the Thomas Frey Award for outstanding research, Virginia Society of Ophthalmology, 2007, among others.
