Dr. Nigel Stevenson is an HRB Fellow in School of Biochemistry and Immunology, Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. He earned his PhD at Queena University of Belfast N Ireland United Kingdom. He has published in The Journal of Immunology, The Journal of Virology, The Journal of Biological Chemistry, The Journal of Leukocyte Biology and Human Immunology and he was author of a book chapter in The Role of the Immune System in Cancer Infection in the cancer patient. He is a member of the Irish and British Society of Immunology. He is on the committee of the Irish Society of Immunology. He was an organizer of the Viruses and Innate Immunity EMBO workshop 2010 at Trinity College Dublin. The research of Dr. Stevenson examines the molecular and functional aspects of the immune response to viral bacterial and allergic stimuli. His work endeavours to bridge molecular and clinical science applicable to medicine and generation of novel therapeutics.
