Niraldo Paulino

Biography

Niraldo Paulino is Professor at Universidade Bandeirante de São Paulo and Chief Research and Development of BIOMED Group in the Pharmacy Program. He received his pharmaceutical degree from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianópolis, SC Brazil and completed his doctor degree at the same university in collaboration with Ludwig Maximilian University in Germany. He has experience in Pharmacology, focusing on medicinal plants pharmacology, molecular pharmacology and cellular signaling. The special area of interest is: medicinal plants (Brazilian species). propolis, inflammation, and molecular mechanisms of action of natural products and bioactive synthetics. He has several publications and patent and is one of the leading research experts in the Brazilian propolis and its actions and applications. He serves on various review committees including Chef-Editor in Revista de Pesquisa e Inovação Farmacêutica in Brazil.
