Dr. Philip C.N. Chiu received his PhD in the University of Hong Kong and is currently a Research Assistant Professor at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, the University of Hong Kong. He has more than 12 years of experience in reproductive biology research and his current research interests focus on fertilization, reproductive glycobiology, immune interactions at the maternal-fetal interface and trophoblast function/differentiation. Dr. Chiu has more than 35 international high-impact publications including Biology of Reproduction, Diabetes, Endocrinology, Fertility and Sterility, Human Reproduction, Human Reproduction Update, Journal of Biological Chemistry and Journal of Cell Science.
His current research interests focus on fertilization, reproductive glycobiology, immune interactions at the maternal-fetal interface and trophoblast function/differentiation.
