Biography

Prasanta Das currently hold an Adjunct Faculty Position while continuing his Research Associate work at Jackson State University, Mississippi. Having master from IIT Kanpur and Ph.D. from IIT Bombay, his current research interest is mainly focusing on the Total synthesis of biologically active natural products. A collaborative based Drug Discovery Program also becomes the part of their ongoing research interest, where they mainly target anticancer, antimalarial, and antiviral agents. Over the past 15 years, the experience is not only enabled him to publish articles and serve as a peer reviewer for several Chemistry Journals; it also instills the capability in him to establish in the professional world. Therefore, as an adjunct faculty and researcher, he is now seeking further prospect that reinforces his professional surroundings for which he believe his experience, training, and successes made him capable enough.
