Dr. Qianlai (Charlie) Zhuang received his PhD in the field of Biological Sciences from University of Alaska at Fairbanks in 2001. He then did his post-doc training at the Ecosystem Center at Marine Biological Laboratory at Woods Hole from 2001 to 2005. Currently he is a William F. and Patty J. Miller Associate Professor of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences and Agronomy at Purdue University. His research interests focus on the interactions among atmosphere, biosphere, and human dimension in the context of climate change, chemical element cycles, and policy-making.
