Research Interest

His research focuses on understanding the role of endocannabinoid signaling in synapse physiology and neuropsychiatric disorders such as cocaine addiction and depression. Using slice and in vivo electrophysiology to understand drug- and stress-induced synaptic plasticity in the reward circuit of the brain. Areas of interest include long-term potentiation (LTP), long-term depression (LTD), AMPAR- and GABAA receptor-mediated synaptic transmission.
