The University of TexasDr. Rachna Shroff grew up in Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Brown University in Providence, RI and went on to medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. She moved to Washington University in St. Louis, MO for her Internal Medicine residency and Chief Residency before joining MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX, for her Medical Oncology fellowship. She subsequently joined the GI Medical Oncology faculty at MD Anderson where she specializes in treating pancreatic and biliary cancers and is focused on developing personalized, biomarker-driven therapies for these aggressive malignancies
