Rakesh K Srivastava has received his PhD in University of Guelph during the period of 1991-1994. Currently, he is working Tyler Endowed Professor in the Department Pharmacology, Toxicology, Therapeutics and Medicine, University of Kansas Medical Center, USA. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals.
1. Cancer therapy, prevention, stem cell, drug discovery and development, cell signaling, apoptosis. 2. The focus of research is to examine the molecular mechanisms of cancer cell growth and apoptosis, and to develop novel drugs for the treatment and prevention of cancers. He is currently working on the following projects which are funded by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense US Army, and Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
