Raymond Chi-Wing Wong received the BSc,MPhil and PhD degrees in Computer Scienceand Engineering in the Chinese University ofHong Kong (CUHK) in 2002, 2004 and 2008,respectively. He joined Computer Science andEngineering of the Hong Kong University ofScience and Technology as an Assistant Professorin 2008. In 2004-2005, heworked as a research and development assistant under an R&D projectfunded by ITF and a local industrial company called Lifewood. Hereceived at least 18 awards. Within 8 years, he published at least30 conference papers (e.g., SIGMOD, VLDB, ICDE, SIGKDD and ICDM) and at least 14journal/chapter papers (e.g., TODS, VLDBJ, TKDE, DAMI and TKDD). Hereviewed papers from conferences and journals related to data miningand database, including SIGMOD, VLDB conference, VLDB Journal, TKDE, TKDD,ICDE, SIGKDD, ICDM, DAMI, DaWaK, PAKDD, EDBT and IJDWM.
Research interests include database, data mining and security.
