Dr. Robert Nalbandov is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Security Studies and Criminal Justice, Angelo State University. He received his B.A. in linguistics from the Tbilisi Foreign Language Institute, M.P.A. from the Georgian-American Institute of Public Administration, a M.A. in International Relations from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, and his Ph.D. in Political Science (magna cum laude) from the Central European University, Budapest, in 2008. He is the author of "Foreign Interventions in Ethnic Conflicts" (2009, Ashgate Publishing) and numerous articles on international security and conflict resolution. Dr. Nalbandov taught as a visiting assistant professor at Macalester College, Minnesota, completed his post-doctoral research and taught at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland; was a lecturer at the University of Birmingham, England, and taught at the Smolny College of Liberal Arts, St. Petersburg University, Russia
