Rommel (Bombie) Salvador is Assistant Professor of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the Isenberg School of Management, University of Massachusetts Amherst. His research centers on managing human resources in the workplace. More specifically, his interests focus on the influence of cognition and affect in decision-making, as they relate to areas such as occupational health and safety training, diversity in groups and teams, and ethical decision-making. He received undergraduate degrees in Applied Mathematics and Secondary Education from De La Salle University in Manila, an M.B.A from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, and a Ph.D in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. Previously, he has worked in funds management and educational administration.
