Professor Rong Li, who received her bachelor's degree from College of Chemistry, Northeast Normal University in 1984, has worked at College of Biotechnology and Food Science, Tianjin University of Commerce, China. As a Professor of Food Science and Analytical Chemistry, Professor Li's major research interests has been focused on natural products and antioxidant activity screening, solid phase microextraction and HPLC stationary phase materials and their application in Food Analysis, and separation and identification of trace components in food and biological samples. Professor Li published more than 250 research papers, obtained 3 Chinese invention patents, and won the third prize of Natural Science of Tianjin.
