Samuele Burastero is Head of the Cellular and Molecular Allergology Unit 1991 at the Department of Immunology Transplantation and Infectious Diseases of the San Raffaele Scientific Institute Milan Italy. He is the Scientific Director of the ALLTOX Allergotoxicity Testing spinoff 2003 of the Technological Park Science Park Raf Milan Associate Professor of Allergology 1999 at the University VitaSalute of Milan Member of the Board of Directors of the Postdoctoral School of Allergology and Clinical Immunology 2003 of the same University. He is serving as an Editorial Board Member for Clinical Immunology since 2005 and as reviewer of several reputed Journals Pediatric Pulmonology International Archives of Allergy and Applied Immunology Allergy Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology Clinical and Experimental Allergy Scandinavian Journal of Immunology Paediatric Allergy and Immunology etc., Author or coauthor of more than 80 publications in peerreviewed Englishlanguage international scientific Journals.
Molecular allergology (allergen-micro-array based diagnosis and generation of modified allergens), in vitro prediction of allergenicity, antigen presentation in the context of the allergic immune response, clinical and immunological parameters in the immunotherapy of allergic diseases.
