Dr. Sanjeev Choudhary received Ph.D in Biochemistry from Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research,Chandigarh, India. He is a member of Department of Internal Medicine Research Interest Cluster, diabetic complications. He is an Assistant Professor in Endocrinology Division, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas.
Dr. Sanjeev Choudhary research interest include Understanding the role of NF-kB inducing kinase (NIK) in the regulation NF-kB dependent gene expression. Molecular mechanism of NIK induced Insulin Resistance. Role of inflammation, NF-kB in the pathogenesis of diabetic complications, Nephropathy and retinopathy. Developing High-through-put assay for screening NF-kB pathway specific aptamers and siRNA to inhibit specific NF-kB activation pathway. Understanding the role of Klotho depletion in diabetes.
