Dr. Sarju Ganatra, MD is an emerging Cardio-Oncologist and works at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, Massachusetts. Dr. Ganatra received his medical degree from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in India. He completed internal medicine residency in 2014 and was a chief medical resident at lahey Hospital & Medical Center, a Tufts University teaching hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine. He is currently doing fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the same institute and has an honor to serve as a chief cardiology fellow. Dr. Gantra’s clinical interest includes cardio-oncology and advance cardiovascular imaging. He authors several publications in high impact journals and also been invited to speak at several national and international meetings on cardio-oncology. He has special research interest in chemotherapy related cardiotoxicity, cardiomyopathy, antiplatelet agents in high bleeding risk cancer patients as well as invasive cardiovascular treatment in cancer patients. He also has published on genetics of arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy and catheter directed thrombolytic therapy for pulmonary embolism. He has served as reviewer for America College of Physician (ACP). Dr. Ganatra will join Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Dana Farber Cancer Institute, affiliates of Harvard Medical School next year. He has established cardio-oncology service at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center and will join as a faculty member in near future.
