Dr. Sidharth Chopra is a Research Scientist in Center for Infectious disease and Biodefense Research at SRI International (2008-present). He was a Stanford University Medical Centre post-doctoral fellow (2004-08) where he received a Novozymes fellowship to conduct research in drug discovery for MDR tuberculosis. He worked with Prof. Anand Ranganathan at International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB) from 2000-04 for pursuing his doctoral degree in Microbial Biotechnology. He has received B.S and M.S. in Microbiology from University of Delhi, India. He is the recipient of CSIR-UGC fellowship to pursue doctoral studies at ICGEB. He regularly reviews articles from Journal of Clinical Microbiology, Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy among others.
