He has received a PhD in Insect Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Nanjing Agricultural University Nanjing China in 2005. He has completed his BA in Plant Protection in Nanjing Agricultural University Nanjing China 1998. He received travel award from USDA for attending Entomological Society of America annual meeting in December 2009 in Indianapolis.
