Stefan Golaszewski

Stefan Golaszewski was born 1964 in Vienna where he studied Technical Physics and Medicine and was graduated 1990 as Diplomingenieur, and 1995 as Medical Doctor. From 1995 to 2001 he worked as resident in Neurology at the Medical University Innsbruck where he focused on clinical applications for functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). From 2001 to 2002 he was resident in Neurology at the Medical University Graz. 2005 he joined the Department of Neurology at the Paracelsus Medical University (PMU) Salzburg in Austria where he currently works as senior physician. 2006 he finished his habilitation that focused on the investigation of cortical reorganisation after brain damage in fMRI. Since 2010 he is medical head of the Neuroscience Institute of the PMU and since 2012 full professor there. He published 90 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and reviews for NeuroImage, Human Brain Mapping, Brain Research, Journal of Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Neurology.
