Dr. Steven F Abcouwer, PhD is an Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, Kellogg Eye Center, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, USA.He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Houston, 1991 and Postdoctoral Fellowship from Monsanto Company, Health Sciences Division, Tumor Biology Group in 1993. Dr. Abcouwer served as Associate Editor and Editorial Board Member of the journal Nutrition. He currently serves on the American Diabetes Association Research Grant Review Panel and on the Editorial Board of American Journal of Physiology: Endocrinology & Metabolism.
