Sue Xue Ming, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Neurosciences and Neurology, of Pediatrics, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-New Jersey Medical School., Newark, NJ.
She graduated from Shanghai Medical University in 1984 and received her PhD in Pharmacology from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 1991.
Dr. Ming completed a residency in Pediatrics at the State University of New York, Syracuse, NY; and a fellowship in Pediatric Neurology at Johns Hopkins Medical School in Baltimore, MD.
She joined the faculty of the Department of Neurosciences and Neurology at the New Jersey Medical School, UMDNJ in 1997 and is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology at the same institute.
Dr. Ming is certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special competence in Child Neurology, and its subspecialty in Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Ming was awarded with grants from the Cure Autism Now foundation, the New Jersey Governor’s Council on Autism Biomedical Research, the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey, the UMDNJ Foundation etc. Dr. Ming was recognized as best physician of the year by Center for Outreach and Services for Autism Community in 2003. Dr. Ming has served as reviewer for grant funding agencies and peer reviewed journals.
