Tamar Tadmor

Biography

Dr. Tamar Tadmor is a Senior in Hematology- Oncology unit in Bnai Zion Medicak Cener, Haifa. Dr. Tamar Tadmor received her post doctoral research from the Sylvester Cancer Center, University of Miami, Florida, USA in department of microbiology & immunology in 2008. In 2004 Dr. Tamar Tadmor received the The Israeli Cancer Association Prize –for best achievement & Israeli Society of Hematology Award for Research in CLL in 2010. Dr. Tamar Tadmor is also a member of Editorial Board of international journals Leukemia and Lymphoma and American Journal of Blood Research. She is also associated with National Israeli Myeloma study group and is a member of the International Hairy cell leukemia Consortium. She has more than 50 research paper publications.

Research Interest

 Diagnosis, treatment and clinical trials relating to malignant lymphoproliferative disorders. In particular in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), Hodgkin and non Hodgkin lymphoma and multiple myeloma, The role of myeloid derived suppressor cells in hematologic malignancies, with special emphasis on diffuse large B- cell lymphoma and plasma cell disorders, Monocyte count as a prognostic factor in lympho-proliferative disorders, Second malignancies associated with lymphomas, lymphoproliferative disorders, CLL and myeloma, before and after therapy.
