Nicole R. Tartaglia is a Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician at The Childrens Hospital in Aurora, Colorado and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is the Director of the Denver Fragile X Treatment and Research Center and the Director of the extraordinary Kids Clinic, a specialized clinic for children and young adults with sex chromosome abnormalities at The Childrens Hospital. She received her MD from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2000, and trained in Pediatrics at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics at the UC-Davis MIND Institute in Sacramento California.
Her research interests are in behavioral phenotypes and neurodevelopment in genetic disorders, including special interests in fragile X syndrome, sex chromosome aneuploidy, and 22q11 deletion syndromes. She is also interested in research related to autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
