Thara Larbi

Biography

Thara Larbi is assistant (equivalent adjunct associate professor) in Tunis University School of Medicine and is serving in the teaching hospital Mongi Slim (La Marsa), department of internal medicine (systemic diseases). She holds a MD from the same university after defending a thesis on “TNF-α polymorphism involvment in Behçet disease clinical manifestations” (in French,with honors).She succeeded in the residency national examination in 2003. She is board-certified in internal medicine (systemic diseases) and holds a university degree in “systemic diseases dermatological manifestations” from Faculté de Medecine Pierre et Marie Curie- Université Paris VI- France) and a university degree in “metabolism hereditary diseases” from the Tunis School of Medicine. She is member of the research laboraty “epidemiology and prevention of cardiovascular diseases in Tunisia”

Research Interest

Systemic lupus erythematosus, auto-immune cytopenias, professional practices evaluation, therapeutic education, vasculitis.
