Tiffany Field

Biography

Tiffany Field has been funded by NIH for her entire research career as a research scientist (K05 grants until they were recently discontinued) and has been P.I. on many RO1s investigating prenatal interventions for depressed pregnant women (e.g. massage and yoga) and postnatal depression interventions as well as therapies for preterm infants to facilitate their growth and development. As P.I. on these grants she has had significant experience training and supervising researchers and collaborating and publishing with colleagues.

Research Interest

Massage therapy on various medical and psychological conditions including preventing prematurity, enhancing growth and development of preterm infants, reducing depression, attentional disorders and pain syndromes and increasing immune function in chronic illnesses.
