Master degree in Agricultural Science, (2002 - University of Turin); trained in Arboricultural Science at the Department of Arboricoltural Science - University of Turin. During her Ph.D (2003 - 2006) she studied the role of different storage conditions on quality and texture of Vaccinium corimbosum. The scientific activity is carried out in the Department of Agricultural, Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA), University of Turin. Her research interests are focused primarily on postharvest quality evaluation on whole and fresh-cut fruits. She is also interesting in post-harvest treatments (edible coating, 1-mcp, heat treatments, essential oils) aimed to control fruits quality losses. She authored several scientific peer-reviewed papers in different prestigious journals.
Her research interests include: post-harvest quality evaluation, packaging innovative techniques for fruits shelf-life extension, fruit safety and nutrition.
