Dr. Gupta has done his PhD from Jawaharlal Nehru University India in the area of Cancer Metabolism, where he has unrelieved the functional of few natural mutations found in human Pyruvate kinase enzyme from two Bloom syndrome patients. Dr. Gupta is currently employed in University of Pennsylvania USA
His current area of focus is inflammatory and autoimmune diseases like Lupus, Scleroderma and arthritis and the role of Deubiquitinating enzymes.
