Leading a collaborative interdisciplinary project to develop and test protein based drug molecules for the treatment of various bleeding complications associated with hemophilia patients or patients using various anticoagulants. Cloning and purification of recombinant protein using mammalian cells. Develop and optimize in-vitro assays for physicochemical characterization of potential protein drug candidates. Conduct both enzyme-based and ligand binding in-vitro assays and provide support for drug discovery programs throughout the lead optimization process. Develop novel drug delivery systems in different mice models and analysis of results thereof. Validate the successful candidates in different cell and mouse models. Conduct in vivo pharmacokinetic and metabolism studies of potential drug candidates in animals, integrate results with in vitro and biological findings and report data.
