Vikas Dhikav was born in Bhiwani, Haryana, India on August 21st 1974. He did his undergraduate medical training from Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, India and postgraduate training in pharmacology and therapeutics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi India. His primary research interests are Alzheimer’s disease and yoga and sexuality. He has to his credit 20 International and 50 National papers. He has also authored one dozen books in pharmacology and therapeutics and also on various aspects of sexuality.
He has served as a Research Associate in leading Institutes of India including AIIMS and postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and research, New Delhi. He has an extensive experience of teaching pharmacology to Medical Students for last 10 years. He has been invited as a Visiting Faculty by various Russian, Chinese and Nepalese universities. His name features in World’s leading Whos Who and was nominated by British Medical Journal group to promote Academic Medicine in 2004. In 2010, he was nominated as one of the outstanding intellectuals of the 21st contrary by International Biographical Institute, Cambridge, UK.
His primary research interests are Alzheimers disease and yoga and sexuality.
