Wei Huang

Dr. Wei Huang received her M.D. from Shanghai Medical University in China, and Ph.D. in Neuroscience/Psychology from Vanderbilt University. She completed her PM&R residency training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She has served as Chief of Rehabilitation Service and Inpatient Medical Director at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital, Emory HealthCare Inc. Currently she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, active in teaching, research and clinical services at both Emory and Atlanta VAMC. Dr. Huang has published in top international journals, including “Science”, lectured at multiple schools and international conferences, and served as an ad hoc reviewer for some highly ranked scientific and professional journals. She is the President of American Association of Chinese Rehabilitation Physicians. Her main clinical and research interests are the integration of effective alternative medical treatments in the areas of sleep and pain management.
