Dr. Wong is Assistant Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Temple University, School of Pharmacy. After earning his profession degree of Pharmacy and PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences at University of Toronto, he completed his postdoc training at Ohio State University. Dr. Wong research focuses on the use of nanomedicine to improve the therapeutic efficiency and safety of anticancer compounds in particular the strategic use of lipid based nanosystems to deliver macromolecules and cytotoxic small molecule compounds alone or in combinations for drug resistant cancer treatment.
Novel drug delivery system design 2. Evaluation of efficacy and toxicity of nanomedicine-based cancer treatments 3. Anticancer therapy integrating molecular therapeutics (e.g. RNAi therapy) and conventional chemotherapy (e.g. cytotoxic anticancer compounds).
