Xiang-Jia Min is Assistant Professor in the Center for Applied Chemical Biology, Youngstown State University. He received his Master degree in Software Systems from University of British Columbia in 2002 and his PhD in Plant Science from University of Hawaii in 1995. He is serving on the Ohio Plant Biotechnology Consortium as the YSU representative. He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Proteomics and Bioinformatics and a reviewer for the following journals: Bioinformatics; Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics ; Nucleic Acids Research; Molecular Biology and Evolution; Folia Microbiologica. He has published 25 papers in journals and books. He implemented some widely used software tools including ORF Predictor, TarngetIdentifier and ASFinder.
