Xiaodong Zhou MD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, University of TexasMedical School at Houston. He also is a director of Research Laboratory in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunogenetics Division He has been studying rheumatic diseases over 12 years. His research activities have been supported by National Institutes of Health NIH Department of Defense, Scleroderma Foundation, University of Texas Houston and private donations.
His major research interests focus on chronic autoimmune diseases and autoinflammatory diseases such as systemic sclerosis, ankylosing spondylitis, myositis etc.
