Xiong Li is Scientist and Assistant Professor in Maine Institute for Human Genetics and health, Bangor, ME. Adjunct Assistant Professor in Graduate School of Biomedical Science (GSBS), the University of Maine, Orono, ME. He has completed a postdoctoral training in Cancer Biology and Cancer Gene Therapy (2002-2008). He has received a PhD in Clinical Orthopedics from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, P.R. China (1999-2002). He has completed his MS in Clinical Orthopedics from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, P.R. China (1996-1999). He has received his MD in Clinical Medicine from Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, Changsha, P.R. China (1987-1992). He received the support from “National Research Service Award” from NIH in 2006. He is serving as an editorial board member of Journal of Cell Science& Therapy. He is the member of 2010 DOD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs Peer Review--- Prostate Cancer Research Program Idea Development Grant Study Panel (3/20/2010-04/05/2010). He is the member of 2009 Telemedicine & Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC), Product Line Review (PLR) for Proteomics & Genomics Portfolio (11/5/2009). He is the member of 2009 DOD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs Peer Review--- Prostate Cancer Research Program Training Grant Study Panel (7/29/2009-07/31/2009). He has completed 42 peer reviewed publications, in which 14 of them are in Cancer Biology and experimental therapy. He has completed 2 book chapters.
