Ye Wang, Ph.D, an associate professor and the Program Coordinator for Education of the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing (EDHH) Program in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders, Missouri State University. Dr. Wang received her doctoral degree from The Ohio State University in 2005. After 3 years of assistant professorship in Teachers College, Columbia University, Dr. Wang was invited by Missouri State University to lead the EDHH program in the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders in fall 2008. Dr. Wang is a teacher educator preparing teachers of the d/Deaf and hard of hearing students as well as a researcher. Her primary research interest is the language and literacy development of students who are d/Deaf and/or hard of hearing. Her other research and scholarly interests include multiple literacies, technology and literacy instruction, inclusive education, research methodology and early childhood education.
