Ying gu

Biography

Dr. Ying Gu graduated from University of California, Riverside with a Ph.D in Plant Genetics in 2003. Dr. Gu was appointed to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Pennsylvania State University as an assistant professor in 2010. Her current research is focused on dissecting the molecular mechanisms underlying plant cellulose biosynthesis. Dr. Gu currently serves on editorial board for Frontiers in Plant Physiology.
