Yiru Xu

Biography

Dr. Yiru Xu is a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology Photoaging and Aging Research Program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Fudan University, Shanghai, P.R.China in 1989 and his Ph.D. in Microbiology from Medical College of Wisconsin in 1995. He was recruited to join the faculty of Dermatology Department at University of Michigan Medical School in 1999 after he finished his postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Biochemistry. Dr Xus current interest is in regulation of growth factor receptor functions in human skin.
