Zia Shariat Madar, PhD is in the School of Pharmacy at the University of Mississippi. He received his BS degree in Biology and MS degree in Public Health Education from Central Michigan University. He received his Ph.D in Pharmacology at the Medical University of Ohio and did postdoctoral work at the University of Michigan.
His research interests include normal and pathological hypertrophy and inflammation in brain microvessels.
