Figure 1: The ovarian tumor on low power view. This image depicts the case of ovarian tumour in 45-year-old women. The ovarian tumour on low power view. Grossly there are nests of neoplastic cells with the background of necrosis. It has enlarged round to polygonal cells with scanty to moderate eosinophilic cytoplasm and frequent mitotic figures. The latest research suggests that cancer originated from the fallopian tube and it shows its movement towards ovaries. The patient presented with changes in the sensorium. She lost her balance and hit her head after which she showed the symptoms like disorientedness, intermittent febrile episodes, restlessness. She also felt pain in the right abdomen after which she was hospitalized and diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her serum calcium and parathyroid hormone were elevated. This was a cause of worry. Histologic features of the right ovarian cyst. The figure shows very low power view demonstrating Brenner tumour and strum ovary.
