The sacrum is the triangle-shaped bone at the tip of the spine between the body part of the spine and the tailbone. The sacral spine is formed of five segments, S1-S5, that together have an effect on nerve communication to the lower portion of the body. • S4 and S5 affect the perineal area.
Causes and treatment
