The Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics is an academic journal providing an opportunity to researchers and scientist to explore the advanced and latest research developments in the field of proteomics and bioinformatics in animal, plant and microbial world. Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics publishes the highest quality scientific articles amalgamating broad range of fields related to proteomics and bioinformatics.
All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Google Scholar, Index Copernicus, CAS Source Index (CASSI), Sherpa Romeo, Academic Journals Database, Open J Gate, Genamics JournalSeek, Academic Keys, JournalTOCs, ResearchBible, Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA), Electronic Journals Library, Hamdard University, RefSeek, EBSCO A-Z, Publons, University Grants Commission, Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research, Virtual Library of Biology (vifabio), OCLC- WorldCat, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and JournalTOCs.
During the calendar year of 2019 , JPB received a total of 34 manuscripts, out of which 6 articles (20%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 25 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 12 issues of Volume 12 published during the year 2019, a total of 25 articles were published. Articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.
Journal of Proteomics & Bioinformatics also announces its new association with Longdom group for Archiving, Journal maintenance, financial purpose and support. However the journal will be running its original website https://www.longdom.org/proteomics-bioinformatics.html parallel for Editorial and review work process so as to maintain its highest standard of scientific work.
I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 12 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Dr. Tanveer Ahamd during the final editing of articles published and the Dr. Lucia Silvestrini support as an active reviewer of our journal, I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JPB, the office bearers and staff of JPB secretariat for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JPB and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 13 of JPB in scheduled time.
