These tools enable healthcare professionals to swiftly identify pathogens, allowing for timely and targeted treatment interventions. For instance, PCR-based tests can rapidly detect specific genetic sequences of pathogens, aiding in the quick diagnosis of infections and enabling healthcare providers to administer appropriate therapies promptly.
Advancements in microbiological diagnosis have facilitated the advent of precision medicine.
