Journal of Ergonomics is an international research journal and the aim is to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in occupational health, musculoskeletal disorders, driver safety, anthropometry, biomechanics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, industrial design, information design, kinesiology, physiology, psychology, working ergonomics and making them freely available through online without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide. Ergonomics Journals are at higher echelons that enhance the intelligence and information dissemination on topics closely related to ergonomics. This is an open access journal; all the articles are peer reviewed by eminent people in the field. Journal strives to publish and get a worthy impact factor by quick visibility through its open access guiding principle for world class research work.

Manaswi Shamsundar explained about the change in attitude and behaviour of common people towards visiting the hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the fear of getting an infection by the coronavirus. According to this study, hospitals should create a few strategies to manage health care better, such as building separate hospital blocks to address conditions other than COVID-19 infections, and making a few hospitals exclusive to diseases such as diabetes or high blood pressure, so people would not enter other hospitals where patients with COVID-19. By doing so, people would be more likely to trust the hospital and would be more inclined to go to the hospital to prevent a late diagnosis of life-threatening diseases or crippling conditions [1].

Philip G Fatolitis explained about the Incorporating a standard set of human factors best practices into the design and operation of healthcare technologies and procedures can help to improve healthcare safety culture and ultimately, patient safety. Translation of human factors principles and methods from aviation settings to healthcare applications has been successful in some instances; prominent among those is the recognition that organizational culture plays a significant role in patient safety. For healthcare to derive maximum benefit from the lessons learned in aviation, human factors principles should be recognized, maintained and emphasized [2].

Fasil Kebede explained about the Lean manufacturing aims to eliminate waste and to improve productivity, which enhances customer satisfaction. It has been found in literature that elimination of waste is done through VSM, i.e. identifying valueadded and non-value-added activities. Lean manufacturing eliminates non-value-adding activities that have no contribution at all, and minimizes necessary non-value-adding activities. Developing countries’ MEIs have faced various challenges to meet their objectives even with lower capacity utilization rate [3].

Lhearnie Manongdo explained about the shortcomings of the existing framework used in the Philippines by the government as discussed in the earlier sections can be minimized or supplemented by the proposed community organizing protocols. The Indigenous Planning Framework has a wide range of scope and uses a needs-based approach wherein it mainly focuses on the deficit of the community. Although the IP’s concerns are considered in searching for promising opportunities, the problem-based approach can overemphasize what the community lacks in order to attract outside aid. This may affect program implementation and sustainability especially if the problems are already addressed or the organizers have already achieved their goals [4].
