Editorial

The high scientific standards maintained by Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods in its papers owe much to the continuing dedication of the journal’s reviewers, who give freely of their time and expertise. On the behalf of Editorial Board Member, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the reviewers for assessing manuscripts. The editors greatly appreciate the contribution of reviewers who have dedicated their valuable time and efforts in reviewing the assigned manuscripts, which is crucial to the journal’s editorial decision-making process. Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods follows a double-blind peer-review process, where the reviewers do not know the identity of authors and vice versa, to avoid any biases. Committing to review is a diligent task, which not only requires careful reading, analysis, and commentary but also a willingness to continue with a manuscript through multiple revisions. The Journal has taken several steps to thank and acknowledge the reviewers. The journal has an Editorial Submission and Review Tracking System that generates a unique id and password for reviewers, who accept the reviewer invitation. By creating an account on the Editorial Submission and Review Tracking System, reviewers can submit their comments either on the journal’s email id or directly on the submission system. Also, they can access details of their past reviews and can download a letter of acknowledgment for their records. On successfully completing the reviewing of 10 manuscripts, by each reviewer, submitted to the Journal the reviewers are entitled to get an official reviewer certificate from the Editorial team.

Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods is an international peerreviewed journal and one of the preferred journals in the field of Medical Diagnosis. The journal is an interdisciplinary research journal that invites scientists, students, research scholars and academicians to publish original research work, review articles, case reports, commentaries, short communications, opinion articles, letter to editors, etc. The Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods started in the year of 2012 and has successfully completed its eight volumes and started its ninth volume in 2020. During this period of time, journal achieved good readership and honour from the scientific societies. Journal is growing continuously and publishing sufficient number of articles in each issue successfully with active support of the reviewers.

The Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods publishes article in English and every article is rigorously peer-reviewed and is published online with 45 days after acceptance. The individuals i.e. Zhi Zhu from China, Prabin Shrestha from Nepal and Jerwin Prabu from India, have provided peer-review of manuscript which were submitted to the Journal of Medical Diagnostic Methods. With their consistent support and advice, a total of 10 articles are published from January 2020 to August 2020 from authors belonging to different geographical locations across the world. They receive no remuneration for their work and still took out time from their busy schedules to read and evaluated manuscripts submitted to the Journal. I on the behalf of our Editorial Board Member thank them for their indispensable work.
