These beneficial bacteria can be found in various foods, including fermented dairy products like yogurt and kefir, as well as in supplements. Research has shown that probiotics can promote digestive health, boost the immune system, and even improve mental health. In this article, we will discuss the benefits of probiotics in greater detail and explore the different ways in which they can support our health.
The importance of gut health
The human gut contains trillions of microorganisms, including bacteria, viruses, and fungi. These microorganisms play a crucial role in our overall health, as they help to break down food, absorb nutrients, and regulate the immune system.
