Stiffness or rheumatic disorder alludes to an intense or incessant disease which is portrayed by aggravation and decreased capacity of interfacing or supporting structures, for example, the joints, ligaments, tendons, bones, and muscles. Rheumatism or rheumatic disorder refers to an acute or chronic illness which is characterized by inflammation and reduced function of connecting or supporting structures such as the joints, tendons, ligaments, bones, and muscles.

Rheumatology: Current Research (RCR) publishes a wide range of article in this discipline covering all modern trends in clinical and experimental research associated with physiology, rheumatology, inflammatory, immunologic, metabolic, and degenerative soft and hard connective tissue diseases, and also pediatric rheumatology and creates a platform for the authors to contribute towards the journal. Rheumatology: Current Research is a Scholarly Open Access journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on discoveries and current developments as original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in the field and provide online access to researchers worldwide without any restrictions or subscriptions.

Rheumatology: Current Research is a peer reviewed journal, serving the International Scientific Community. This Rheumatology journal offers an open access platform to the authors to publish their research outcome. During the year 2019, we have published articles related to Tumoral calcinosis, Polyarthritis, Patellar Tendinopathy, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Osteoarthritis and many more. The research article of Volume 9 issue 2 of Tekeoglu I, et al. shown that US gives another imaging system for patellar tendinopathy in patients with knee OA.
