Biochemistry is an emphasis on the study of chemical processes occurring in the living organisms. It is the branch of science that helps to explore the various chemical processes occurring within and related to the living living organisms and studies these mechanisms by using chemical knowledge and techniques to understand and solve the biological problems. Biochemistry deals with the structures, functions and interactions of biological macro molecules, such as proteins, nucleic acids, fatty acid, carbohydrates and lipids, which provide the structure of cells and perform many of the functions associated with living organism.
