As per available reports about 481 journals, 127 conferences are dedicated exclusively to exercise physiology and about 796,000 articles are being published on the current trends in exercise physiology. In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to exercise physiology are being carried out. Exercise Physiology is the study of how the body, from a functional standpoint, responds, adjusts, and adapts to exercise (Fox, Bowers, & Foss, 1993). As is evident from these definitions, the two aspects of exercise physiology that form the core of the discipline are the responses and the adaptations to exercise.
