Juvenile idiopathic arthritis, formerly referred to as juvenile atrophic arthritis , is that the commonest sort of arthritis in children under the age of 16.These can cause persistent joint pain, swelling and stiffness. Some children may experience symptoms for less than a couple of months, while others have symptoms for the remainder of their lives.Some sorts of juvenile idiopathic arthritis can cause serious complications, like growth problems, joint damage and eye inflammation. Treatment mainly focuses on controlling pain and inflammation, improving function, and preventing joint damage
