Patients who have gone through surgery to treat head and neck cancer, those with deformities and those who have suffered burns and trauma may find it difficult to speak and swallow. Neck reconstructive surgery allows such patients to improve their functional abilities and appearance. Diffierent types of neck reconstructive surgeries include Free tissue transfer and microvascular anastomosis, Local flap reconstruction, Reanimation of the paralyzed face, Reconstruction of the jaw and facial bones, Reconstruction of the nose, mouth, and ears, Skull-base surgery, Skin grafting and Tissue replacement
